The real definition of a chinchilla is asmall South American rodent (genus Chinchilla, family Chinchillidae) with soft gray fur and a long bushy tail. In my words, it is one of the most cutest animals in the world. It is kind of like a mixture of a rat and a hamster. Chinchillas are very low-maintenance pets.
